I’ve a draft for an article about a new crate I’m working on: a lock-free, mostly wait-free, pool implementation.

However, it’s been 5 weeks I’m stucked on an extremely rare deadlock. It’s my third reimplementation. The problem is still present, in a different form every time.

Damn atomic and async programming can be hard sometimes.

It's Friday again, so it's time for another update on Diesel, a ORM and QueryBuilder for Rust.

The news of the week is the release of Diesel 2.3.11, which contains fixes for potential panics while deserializing PostgreSQL server response, fixing batch inserts with returning clauses on SQLite and hardening some usage of SqliteConnection::deserialize_read_only_database(). #Python Hypothesis package now requires #RustLang. This is a scale of reverse dependencies I can't handle. I guess this means it's the end of WD40 profiles on #Gentoo, and therefore the end of support for Alpha, ARM<v6, HPPA, M68k, i486 and some other random subsets of architectures and profiles.
