The nice thing about the #Fediverse is that my feed is self curated. I follow a bunch of people who moderate instances. Reports are showing up by many of them that their spam flow for the day is zero.

One commenter reminded a thread a moment ago that correlation does not mean causation, or that a bot would have said that. Another mentioned the only way to truly test this is to take out another data center and see if the bot rate for another part of the world would go down as well.

Over the day I spend some time to get gotosocial running using helm in k3s. It works in a sense that it loads and I can set some options. But it is far from stable. So I need to look into this at some later date and/or look at alternatives. Snac is on the shortlist too. I used it previously on top of OpenBSD and it was fine.

Guten Abend

Diese Woche hat mir wieder gezeigt, warum ich hier bin. Zu fast jeder Frage kamen Antworten aus der Runde, oft aus eigener Erfahrung und mit viel Geduld. Egal ob es um Distributionen, Paketverwaltung oder Datenschutz ging, irgendwer hatte einen Rat parat und nahm sich die Zeit, ihn aufzuschreiben. Ich bin noch nicht lange dabei und habe in diesen Tagen mehr gelernt als erwartet.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle, die mir geholfen haben. Ich gebe das gern zurück, sobald ich kann.
